No Foolin’
Starting Saturday, April 3, we will increase gathering limits to those shared by the governor’s most recent executive order — 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. You still need to be able to keep six feet of distance between you and the next person, which might limit the gathering size if you’re in a space that doesn’t allow for that much buffer room. More info about space and capacity limits is available here.

Shoot Your Shot
As of yesterday, college students in North Carolina are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. Learn more about where and how to sign up for vaccinations by visiting the vaccination site on Our Way Forward.

Tell Us All About It
If you’ve been vaccinated, please share it with Student Health Service. We’ll give you three good reasons why. First, it helps the University understand the current vaccine status of the community. Second, it helps the University plan for the next academic year. And third (you’ll like this one), if we have your documentation on file, and you are at least two weeks past your final dose, you may be excused from University quarantine protocols, even if someone in your living environment has to isolate. So for the love of all that is good, upload your vaccination and skip your stay at the Best Western Plus.

It’s All Yours
Sleep in. Take a walk through Reynolda Gardens. Meet your friends for some Spikeball. On Wednesday, April 7, do whatever you want. It’s your day — free from classes and commitments. The Office of Wellbeing is holding events all day long. See the schedule here.

Survey Says…
Last week’s survey about emotional wellbeing revealed a high level of optimism among students, but also recognition that maintaining energy in a pandemic is hard. We know there is a strong link between emotional wellbeing and engagement, and we want to take your pulse on how you’re engaging with each other and the University. Please take 60 seconds to share your thoughts.

And always remember… no April fool’s joke could be more unbelievable than our past year.
