Vaccine Appointments Still Available – March 31

Dear faculty, staff, and students:

There are still a limited number of appointments available for the on-campus COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic this Wednesday, March 31. We anticipate that this will be the last first- or single-dose clinic held on campus in the coming months. Second-dose clinics will continue to be held on campus throughout April for those who received their first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at an on-campus clinic in March.

If you have not already been vaccinated, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.

What: Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine

When: Wednesday, March 31 (only one dose required)

Where: The Sutton Center on Reynolda Campus

Who: Individuals eligible in Groups 1-4

If you are a student and under the age of 18, you should contact the Student Health Service at shs@wfu.edu or (336) 758-5218 to discuss how to schedule your appointment.

To date, nearly 5,000 faculty, staff, and students have reported via SneezSafe that they have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Wake Forest will continue to identify and communicate upcoming community vaccination opportunities and has plans to coordinate transportation from campus to the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds in the coming weeks.

If you are unable to register for an appointment this Wednesday, you should seek out vaccination opportunities with the Forsyth County Public Health Department, Wake Forest Baptist Health, Novant Health, Walgreens, or CVS. Once you’ve been vaccinated, please remember to indicate that you have received a vaccine using the SneezSafe daily wellness screening survey.
