Dear colleagues,

We value your partnership in our efforts to ensure that all Wake Forest students will have the opportunity to have a rewarding academic experience this fall and be as safe and healthy as possible. Therefore, we want to share with you the following message that students received earlier today.

On May 26, we informed our students that COVID-19 vaccination will be required to enroll and attend Wake Forest this fall with a deadline of July 1, 2021. We have allowed a grace period given summer travel and obligations to enable all students to submit their records to us or to file for an exemption as soon as possible. However, on August 1, the University will begin the process of removing students from enrolled courses and assigned housing who have failed to provide the required documentation of their vaccination status.

As a reminder, on June 23, the Office of Human Resources sent a survey to all faculty and staff to collect COVID-19 vaccination information. More than 80 percent of faculty and staff have completed the survey, and we are grateful for your cooperation.

You are required to complete the survey. If you have not already done so, please complete the survey as soon as possible and no later than August 2.

Thank you,

Hof Milam
Executive Vice President

Rogan Kersh
Provost
