Dear Students,

We hope you have had a safe and relaxing break and are excited to begin the spring semester!
As you prepare to return to campus, please note the following SneezSafe items:

  1. Daily Survey: As a reminder, you should now be taking the SneezSafe Wellness Survey every day. Some of the survey questions and answers have recently changed, so please read carefully to ensure you are providing accurate responses.
  2. Reminders: The easiest way to take the daily survey is through SneezSafe’s text or email reminders. If you opted out of reminders over the winter break but would like to have reminders turned back on, please fill out this Google Form. You should also fill out the form if you have never had reminders turned on, but would like to start them.

You may be contacted with further instruction via email, so be sure to provide a valid email that you check regularly. Please allow 2-3 days for your request to be processed.

  3. Quarantine Question: Please see the guidance below for how to answer the following question on SneezSafe — “Are you currently in isolation or quarantine due to symptoms, close contact / exposure to COVID-19, a positive COVID-19 test result and/or instructions from a medical provider or public health worker?”
    • Yes – Please choose this answer if the above is true
    • No – Please choose this answer if (a) you are not in quarantine or (b) you are quarantining ONLY because of the University’s expectation that students quarantine for 14 days prior to returning to campus (and not because of symptoms, exposure, positive test result or other instructions.)
  4. COVID-19 Testing Question: SneezSafe has changed the answer choices for the question “Since your last survey, do you have any new test results for COVID-19?” The new answer choices are:
    • Yes
    • No, waiting on results from a test taken because of close contact / exposure or symptoms
    • No, waiting on results from a test taken for travel or required for work, school or sports

    • Please choose this answer if you are waiting on results for a test taken ONLY because of the University’s pre-arrival, asymptomatic or athletics testing requirements and not because of symptoms, exposure, positive test result or other instructions.
    • No, haven’t been tested

We appreciate your attention to this new information as we prepare for a safe and healthy semester!

Go Deacs!
