Keeping common sense highly contagious

Dashboard Update: We have 110 total known, confirmed positive cases in the last two weeks.

Thanks for getting us so far
This semester has been tough — 549 of you have had COVID-19; another 1,300 more of you have protected the community by adhering to quarantine requirements; and we have banded together to follow public health guidelines that have allowed us to (nearly) complete our on-campus portion of the semester. (Don’t want to jinx anything here, but way to go!)

Sharing a safe Thanksgiving — #WFU-style
No matter what Thanksgiving 2020 looks like, here are a few helpful safety tips to keep you and your loved ones safe. We know our Deacs are pretty creative. We can’t wait to see what new ways you, your friends and families will come up with to celebrate. Take pics and share with #WFU so we can have the ultimate Wake Forest virtual #Deacsgiving.

Lovefeast
We’re taking this tradition virtual. Find a flashlight, brew some coffee and join us for the largest Moravian-style Lovefeast in North America on December 6 to help celebrate the holiday season.

Testing, testing
We imagine you’re probably a little tired of testing. As you swap COVID nasal swabs for your final exams and projects, the team at YCC wants to wish you the best of luck. If there’s anything you’ve proven this semester, it’s that you can do hard things. Finals? You’ve got this. And for a little fun along the way, check out #WFU social media during finals week!

We’ll be in touch
As we get closer to returning for the spring semester, we’ll send around some instructions about how we will come back in a safe way — pre-arrival testing, quarantine procedures, etc. So, don’t ghost us completely. Check your email once in a while.

And always remember… we are grateful for you — the ones who make Wake Forest the best college campus in the country. Thanks for hanging around with us this semester.
