Reminder of Flu Shot Compliance

The following message was sent to students who have not yet submitted proof of flu shot vaccination documentation.

This is an initial reminder that the deadline to submit your flu shot vaccination documentation to Student Health Service is December 15, 2020 in accordance with the University’s Influenza Policy.

Why? Universal immunization against influenza during the COVID-19 era will help to reduce the burden on and resources of the healthcare systems on and off campus (that and we just don’t want you getting the flu!).

How? You can fulfill this requirement at your doctor’s office, a pharmacy, or at Student Health Service. To make an appointment with Student Health Service, email apptshs@wfu.edu.

At the time of your immunization, you will receive paper documentation (be sure to ask for it) that you can take a photo of and upload to your Student Health Portal. Complete details can be found here. 

Exemption? If you feel you should be exempt from this policy based on medical or religious beliefs, you can fill out an exemption form. Complete details can be found here under the student flu shot FAQs section.
