Mask Policy Update

Emerging research from Duke University indicates that certain types of face coverings and masks can increase the release of the virus into the air more than no mask. Given this information, the following are no longer in compliance with the policy: bandanas, “neck gaiter” masks, and masks (including N-95) with a one-way valve.

Exceptions to this policy will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Faculty and staff requesting an accommodation or exception should email askHR@wfu.edu.
