The following message was sent to residents of Bostwick and Johnson halls from Residence Life and Housing on May 1
Good Morning –
I hope you are well. I’m writing to follow-up on a number of questions we have received in response to President Hatch’s update to the community yesterday regarding move-out, among other topics.
The structured move-out process does indeed include Bostwick and Johnson Halls. Instead of moving out, you will be coming to campus to retrieve the items that were packed for you (as noted in our April 14 message).
Recognizing that you are probably eager to be reunited with your items, we are prioritizing your move-out options and will be able to offer you move-out appointments beginning Monday, May 11. On our Housing Portal, you will be able to view appointment slots beginning Monday, May 4 at noon, which are all an hour and a half in length.
Once your move-out appointment is confirmed, we will provide you with detailed instructions on where to retrieve your items. At that location, you will have the opportunity to sort out any shared items and then be on your way.
Please note, you’re not required to return at this time. If you’re unable or choose not to come to campus, we will continue to store your items or you can work with Storage Scholars on shipping options. If you had previously signed up to work with Storage Scholars for storage, please contact them at email@example.com regarding options for moving forward.
If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 336-758-5185.
